NOT A MEDICAL SERVICE
Cestral is a training and fitness application. It is not a medical device or a healthcare service, and its content does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The assistant, Leo, is not a healthcare professional.
CHECK BEFORE YOU START
Consult a healthcare professional before starting this or any other exercise programme, particularly if any of the following apply:
- cardiovascular, respiratory or metabolic disease, or risk factors for them;
- high blood pressure, diabetes or obesity;
- a previous injury, persistent pain or recent surgery;
- pregnancy or the postpartum period;
- medication that may affect performance, balance or heart rate;
- being over 35 after a prolonged sedentary period.
PLANS ARE AUTOMATED SUGGESTIONS
Plans, weights, reps and rest periods are calculated automatically from the data you enter. If that data is wrong, so is the result. The system can get it wrong: you are the one who decides, on every set, whether the load is right.
Execution technique is your responsibility. If you do not know an exercise, learn its technique with a professional in person before loading it.
IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
Stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain, difficulty breathing, dizziness, fainting, blurred vision, palpitations or sharp joint or muscle pain. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in the European Union).
HEALTH DATA
The metrics the application shows, whether its own or from Apple Health, are for information only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease, and their accuracy depends on the device measuring them.
NO GUARANTEED RESULTS
Results depend on individual factors such as genetics, rest, nutrition, stress and consistency. The application does not guarantee any particular outcome in strength, weight or body composition.
MINORS
Strength training by minors should be carried out under the supervision of a responsible adult and, preferably, a qualified professional.
